The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday (September 16, 2025) carried out multi-state raids in connection Vizianagaram ISIS case linked with conspiracy to unfold terror by way of use of improvised explosive units (IEDs).

The coordinated searches at 16 places throughout India, which included websites in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, have been a part of an operation to dismantle a community involving radicalisation and recruitment of susceptible youth by way of social media platforms.
