ORomeo trailer: Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimris intense love story gets a violent twist in Vishal Bhardwajs actioner

The trailer of Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s upcoming actioner, O’Romeo was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, who has written the screenplay with Rohan Narula, the film also stars Avinash Tiwary, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Disha Patani and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles.

The trailer offers a brief glimpse into the action-packed world of the film which has an intense love story going on between Shahid and Triptii’s characters: Ustara and Afsha. Ustara is a deadly gangster inspired by the life of Hussain Ustara. He is known for his violent outbursts. Nana plays a cop, who is on the hunt of Ustara. Farida plays the role of Ustara’s grandmother, who cautions him about Afsha. The trailer is packed with some powerful dialogues, teasing a varied blend of Vishal’s trademark music while also featuring hyper-stylised action sequences.

The film marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid and Vishal after Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon.

O’Romeo is based on a story written by Hussain Zaidi in his non-fiction book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai (2011). Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will be released in theatres on February 13.
