PWD to increase Munak Canal street to Kashmere Gate

Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh on Saturday mentioned his division is planning to increase the Munak Canal elevated street as much as Kashmere Gate to ease visitors and increase Delhi-Haryana connectivity.

The extension contains constructing a 4-km tunnel between Inderlok and Kashmere Gate ISBT in north-west Delhi.

Mr. Singh mentioned the venture will create a steady, signal-free hall from the Delhi-Haryana border to central Delhi, with direct hyperlinks to ISBT, Outer Ring Road, and Wazirabad hall.

An official assertion mentioned the venture will considerably scale back journey time for autos coming from Sonipat, Rohtak, and the Urban Extension Road (UER) whereas easing bottlenecks at Mukarba Chowk, Azadpur, and Roshanara Road.

“Delhi wants futuristic and revolutionary options that cater to the rising infrastructural wants. We are transferring away from the previous observe of short-term patchworks.
