Southern Railway  has lined up a number of different conservancy initiatives, together with planting of tree saplings, well being camps for cleanliness employees and railway employees, consciousness campaigns in railway colonies and mass cleansing at Central and Egmore railway stations this yr.

The railway official mentioned that cleansing drives had been held in railway stations together with Dr. MGR Chennai Central, Egmore, Velachery, Tambaram, Mambalam, Avadi and Tiruvallur. The 45-day Swachhata Hi Seva marketing campaign culminated on Gandhi Jayanti Day with a grand operate held on the Central station on Thursday the place senior railway officers, together with P.
