Toxic: First look of Nayanthara from Yashs magnum opus unveiled

The makers of Kannada star Yash’s much-anticipated magnum opus, Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown-ups, unveiled the first look of actor Nayanthara on Wednesday (December 31).

The Geetu Mohandas-directorial stars Nayanthara as Ganga. The poster features her, in a styish black ensemble, wielding a shotgun, as she steps into a fancy party.

This comes just days after the makers unveiled the first-look posters of actors Kiara Advani and Huma Qureshi from the film. Notably, according to rumours circulating on social media, actor Rukmini Vasanth is also playing a female lead in the film. Confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Earlier this month, the makers confirmed its box office clash with Dhurandhar 2. The second instalment of the hit espionage thriller — starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar — will also release on March 19, 2026.

National Award winner Rajeev Ravi cranks the camera for Toxic, while the music is composed by Ravi Basrur, known for his previous collaboration with Yash on the KGF films. Ujwal Kulkarni, who edited KGF: Chapter 2, oversees the editing of Toxic.

TP Abid is in charge of production design, while Mohan B Kere is the art director. Bringing an international touch, Hollywood action director JJ Perry, celebrated for his work on John Wick, has crafted some of the film’s most significant action sequences.

Written by Yash and Geetu, Toxic has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada. The movie will also be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and more. The film is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, respectively.
