Produced by Sundram Fasteners Ltd. and made by Nature InFocus with help from the Tamil Nadu Forest Department, the screening drew scores of conservationists, filmmakers, forest officers, and nature fanatics.
The documentary was premiered within the presence of Arathi Krishna, Managing Director, Sundaram Fasteners; Kalyan Varma, director of the movie; Ricky Kej, music composer; actor Aravind Swamy; Akhilesh Tambe, co-director and editor; Rohit Varma, co-producer; Srinivas Reddy, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force); and Rakesh Kumar Dogra, Chief Wildlife Warden.
Inspired by Sangam literature, Wild Tamil Nadu journeys by the 5 classical landscapes — Kurinji (mountains), Mullai (forests), Marutham (croplands), Neithal (coasts), and Palai (arid zones).
The movie captures outstanding wildlife together with tigers, leopards, lion-tailed macaques, bonnet macaques, nice hornbills, flamingos, and the elusive Madras hedgehog.
Viewers have been captivated by its gorgeous visuals and its portrayal of the intricate connections between individuals and the pure world.
