A.P. capital works in Amaravati can be accomplished in three years, says MA&UD Minister Narayana

Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister P. Narayana on Tuesday asserted that the development of Amaravati was progressing swiftly and can be accomplished inside three years, ‘no matter any conspiracies or political hurdles’.

Addressing the media after inspecting the important thing websites, together with Sakamuru reservoir, Kondaveeti Vagu, Gravity Canal, and Anantavaram Park, the Minister reiterated the dedication of the federal government to growing Amaravati as a world-class capital.

Mr. Narayana introduced that 4,000 homes for presidency officers and workers could be accomplished by March 2026, whereas highway and drainage works had been nearing completion.

Designs for the structure roads can be finalised by IIT consultants by the tip of August. Canal works, together with Kondaveeti Vagu (23.6 km), Palavagu (16.5 km), and Gravity Canal (7.84 km), are being widened and deepened to stop flooding. Reservoirs at Sakamuru, Krishnayapalem, and Neerukonda are below building with a mixed storage capability of 0.53 rmc ft, he mentioned.

Lease funds

Referring to the difficulty of the farmer lease funds, Mr. Narayana mentioned that 900 farmers had been but to obtain funds as a consequence of points corresponding to incorrect financial institution accounts or land gross sales, however their instances had been being reviewed. So far, over 18,000 of the 25,000 farmers have acquired their dues, the Minister mentioned.

Responding to criticism that no work is going down, Mr. Narayana invited the ‘detractors’ to go to Amaravati and witness the progress. He emphasised that 30% of the capital space is devoted to greenery below the Blue-Green Capital idea and that the Krishna Riverfront Development works would start quickly.

Highlighting worldwide assist, the MA&UD Minister mentioned Singapore has renewed its belief in Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. “The earlier authorities strained the ties with Singapore, however Mr. Naidu is rebuilding that relationship. Singapore officers will go to Amaravati in ten days,” Mr. Narayana mentioned.

Mr. Narayana was accompanied by Amaravati Development Corporation Chairperson Lakshmi Parthasaradhi, CRDA Chief Engineer Gopalakrishna Reddy, CEO Dhanunjaya, different officers, and representatives of contracting companies throughout the inspection.
