Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday (October 29, 2025) attacked the INDIA bloc, alleging that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad desires to make his son Tejashwi Yadav the Chief Minister of Bihar and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi her son Rahul Gandhi the PM, whereas asserting that “both posts were not vacant”.

Addressing a rally in Darbhanga district of Bihar, Mr. Shah termed the Mahagatbandhan as ‘thug bandhan’, alleging that Lalu Prasad is concerned in fodder, bitumen and land-for-jobs scams, whereas Congress was concerned in corruption circumstances value ₹12 lakh crore.

Mr. Shah stated that the Centre has put a ban on radical outfit PFI and arrested its members, asserting that the NDA is not going to allow them to come out of jail.

“Do you think RJD will let PFI members remain in prison if they come to power in Bihar?” he questioned.

Mr. Shah stated that the NDA authorities offers free ration to eight.52 crore individuals of Bihar, constituted the Makhana Board, and offers 125 models of free energy to home shoppers.

“Darbhanga will get a metro rail soon… an airport has already been constructed and an AIIMS is being built,” he stated.

The BJP chief stated {that a} temple of Goddess Sita is being constructed in Mithila and all locations she visited shall be related to the Ram circuit.

“NDA government gave the official status to Maithili, and the Constitution has been translated into the language,” he stated, including a ₹500-crore middle is being constructed within the area for conserving the manuscripts.
