Bihar CM transfers 1,247.34 crore to pensioners

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar transferred ₹1247.34 crore to greater than 1.12 crore pensioners by means of the DBT system on Sunday (August 10, 2025). This is a part of the Social Security Pension Scheme.

The pension of ₹1,100 for the month of July has been transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries.

The pension has been elevated from ₹400 to ₹1,100 per 30 days from June by the State Government.
