BJP slams Congress authorities for Bengaluru stampede: No preparations have been made

BJP targets Congress, alleges mismanagement

Vijayendra after 10 folks misplaced their lives as a result of stampede.

This is complete administrative failure. I demand that the Chief Minister take full responsibility for this incident and call for a judicial inquiry,” he added.

Congress requires calm

Addressing the state of affairs, Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar acknowledged that the Congress authorities urged for calm.

“I have spoken to the Police Commissioner and everyone. I will also go to the hospital later. I do not want to disturb the doctors who are taking care of the patients. The exact number cannot be told now. We appeal to the people to remain calm. We shortened the program. The program ended within 10 minutes. We are trying to make everything normal,” he instructed reporters.
