CM Stalin accuses Centre of denying Metro Rail initiatives for Coimbatore, Madurai on flimsy grounds

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK. Stalin on Wednesday (November 19, 2025) accused the BJP authorities on the Centre of denying Metro Rail initiatives for Madurai and Coimbatore on flimsy grounds.

In a put up on X, he stated, “The Union BJP authorities has denied Metro Rail for ‘Temple City’ Madurai and for ‘South India’s Manchester’, Coimbatore, on flimsy grounds. A authorities exists to serve individuals with out bias. Yet the Union BJP treats Tamil Nadu’s democratic selection as a motive to take revenge.”
