CMC organises cookery competitors in Vellore to mark World Diabetes Day

The Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Christian Medical College (CMC) organised a cookery competitors at Darling Residency that comes inside Vellore Corporation limits to commemorate World Diabetes Day 2025. According to a press launch, the theme of the competitors is ‘Dinner – Conquering the Night Cravings – Creating a Healthy Diabetes-Friendly inside’, as vitamin and eating regimen play an important function within the prevention and administration of diabetes and you will need to eat balanced parts of healthful home-cooked meals, in a well timed method.

The competitors was presided by Khushboo Agarwal, assistant professor, Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, CMC. Lallu Joseph, Associate General Superintendent, CMC (Ranipet campus), who was the chief visitor, emphasised prioritizing wholesome meals over costly jewellery. The panel of judges included Jabin Khaja, professor, Medical Surgical Nursing, CMC, Sharon Gikku George, physiotherapist, CMC and Sandhiya, dietician, CMC.

The first prize was awarded to Shrisha and Bhavadharani, DKM College of Women (Vellore) for their scrumptious veg millet fenugreek soup, sprouted chana waffle and millet ravioli with hummus. The second runners-up have been Anitha and Karthiga, CMC (Vellore), for combined millet kuzhi paniyaram, ragi dosa and bottle gourd poriyal. The third prize was gained by Gayathri and Gladis Jerusha, employees nurses (CMC) for ragi adai and tulsi and amla well being drink. Consolation prizes have been additionally awarded, the discharge stated.
