The Minister issued directions to instantly operationalize 30 procurement centres to make sure that farmers don’t undergo losses as a result of cyclone’s influence and fluctuating market circumstances. Mr. Atchannaidu said that cotton was cultivated over 4.56 lakh hectares within the State throughout the 2025–26 season, with an estimated yield of almost 8 lakh metric tonnes. The Minister suggested farmers to comply with the prescribed procedures for promoting their produce.
