Following the WPI’s transfer, the CPI(M) has focused the Congress-led UDF relentlessly for sustaining shut hyperlinks with “extremist” outfits like JeI and accepting their assist throughout election campaigns.
CPI(M) state secretary MV Govindan requested the Congress nationwide management to make clear if it has the identical stance because the state management about an outfit just like the JeI.

He has changed his colours. The CPM’s target is clear. It wants to divert the public attention away from the failures of the state government during the bypoll campaign,” he mentioned. The Nilambur bypoll is scheduled on June 19 and the votes will probably be counted on June 23.
