Damaged electrical poles following rains and robust winds, within the aftermath of cyclone ‘Montha’, in Machilipatnam on Wednesday.
According to the CS, the DISCOMs incurred a lack of practically ₹17.84 crore on account of damages to their infrastructure.
He acknowledged in a press launch that over 11,000 staff from varied cadres have been deployed within the affected areas to stop interruptions to electrical energy provide.
He stated that different preparations have been made to make sure steady provide to the general public wherever there have been obstacles to energy restoration, and talked about that 100% restoration of electrical energy provide can be accomplished by October 30.
Regarding AP-Transco community, Mr. Vijayanand acknowledged that points have been reported at 9 220 kV substations, 4 400 kV substations, and eleven 132 kV substations, and speedy motion was taken to resolve all of them.
