Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai on Friday accused the State authorities of “remaining a mute spectator” and failing to handle the acute scarcity of fertilizers for kharif crops, which he claims has led to black advertising and marketing and immense misery for farmers throughout the State.

He warned that if the problem isn’t resolved instantly, the get together’s State unit will be a part of palms with farmers to gherao District Collectorates within the State.

The State Congress president added that the get together has appointed Dr. Amit Kumar Rai because the coordinator and Professor Shravan Kumar Gupta because the co-coordinator of its Teachers’ Cell, which is able to work to seek out options to the issues confronted by academics. “We will collectively strengthen the academics’ motion within the State,” he mentioned.
