Enhancing highway connectivity in Kerala, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has commenced work on creating 5 extra nationwide freeway tasks within the State.

In a communication to the State, the NHAI has knowledgeable that the procedures for getting ready the venture doc for creating 5 extra new nationwide highways have been initiated, stated Public Works Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas right here on Saturday.

The venture doc will likely be ready to improve Ramanattukara-Kozhikode Airport Road, Kannur Airport Road (Chovva-Mattannur), Kodungallur-Angamaly, and Vypeen-Matsyafed Tourist Office Road to nationwide freeway standing.

Along with this, a venture doc is being ready for the development of the Kothamangalam and Muvattupuzha bypasses on the Kochi-Madurai National Highway.

Tender course of

The NHAI has began the tender course of to pick an company to organize the venture doc. The venture doc for the brand new nationwide highways is being ready, contemplating the demand of the State authorities, stated Mr. Riyas.
