Hassan Deputy Commissioner Ok.S. Lathakumari has suspended two hostel wardens, on deputation as supervisors of cleansing work, at Hasanamba Temple premises, on expenses of dereliction of responsibility. The DC issued the order suspending the 2 workers members on Friday (October 10, 2025).
Anand, a warden of a pre-metric hostel at Doddabemmathi in Arakalgud taluk, and Ramesh, one other warden of the pre-metric hostel at Halebidu in Belur, allegedly despatched personal individuals into the temple premises by handing them over their id playing cards.
Hassan district administration has concerned officers from completely different departments for making preparations at Hasanamba Temple throughout the competition, that started on October 9.
