India firmly believes in rule of Law of the Sea, says DMK MP

DMK MP Thamizhachi Thangapandian has mentioned that India firmly believes in and stays dedicated to making sure that the rule of the Law of the Sea is utilized constantly, pretty, and with out arbitrariness by all involved.

She launched Prof. Bimal N. Patel, India’s candidate for the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) in New York on October 29, 2025. “We are happy to current the candidature of Prof. Patel, whose work on worldwide courts and tribunals, profound sensible and analysis expertise, and experience in worldwide regulation and the Law of the Sea, alongside together with his stable expertise in constructing establishments of excellence imbued with the best requirements of integrity, impartiality, and equity, will all contribute to the work and popularity of ITLOS,” she mentioned.
