Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the primary practice on Bairabi-Sairang new line in Mizoram on September 13. The practice will move via the hilly terrain dotted with tunnels, highway over bridges and highway below bridges and attain Sairang village, 20 kms away from Mizoram capital. With this, the Mizo tribes will lastly get rail connectivity with the remainder of the nation.
South Central Railway (SCR) Chief Public Relations Officer A. Sridhar and Northeast Frontier Railway Public Relations Officer Nilanjan Deb, who visited Sairang railway station, stated the Railways will function Sairang (Aizawl)-Delhi Rajdhani Express, Sairang-Guwahati Express and Sairang-Kolkata Express on the brand new line.
“Mr. Modi will flag off the three trains throughout his go to to Mizoram on Saturday. The trains join Mizoram with Delhi, Assam and Kolkata.
