“Our flyover is not inside the outer balcony portion. The balcony concerned falls in an encroached area and we have already written to the NMC to remove the encroachment,” he stated.
The encroachment will likely be eliminated shortly, the official added.
A senior NMC official stated the constructing involved was beforehand given on lease to the land proprietor.
The authorities will look into the standing of the lease, and motion to vacate the premises is anticipated as per the correct process, he added.
