“The United States could be very happy with the profitable integration of many US defence objects into India’s stock. And constructing on this progress, we hope we will full a number of main pending US defence gross sales to India, increase our shared defence industrial cooperation and co-production efforts, strengthen interoperability … between our forces, after which formally signal a brand new 10-year framework for the US-India Major Defence Partnership … which we hope to do very quickly,” Hegseth was quoted as saying by the Department of Defence.

The second key mission India hopes to push with America is the speedy execution of a deal between HAL and GE Aerospace for the joint manufacturing of GE F414 engines, that are anticipated to energy India’s extra superior Tejas LCA Mk-2 fighter jet programme.
