Police rescue two males in two separate incidents

The police on Friday (October 10, 2025) rescued two males in separate incidents that occurred in Chittoor and Annamayya districts.

In Chittoor, Sharan Raj (49) from Mysuru, by accident fell into Neva River close to the Chennai–Bengaluru Expressway on the metropolis outskirts within the early hours of Thursday (October 09). A passer-by seen him on Friday afternoon and alerted police on the Control Room right here. A particular occasion from Chittoor II Town police station, led by Inspector B. Nettikantaiah, rushed to the spot and rescued him utilizing ropes and branches of a tree hanging over the riverbed. The man was rushed to the Government District headquarters Hospital for therapy.

In one other incident, Armed Reserve (AR) constable S. Amarnath rescued a youth recognized as Chengachari, 26, from Bengaluru, after he tried suicide by leaping into an agriculture effectively on the outskirts of Madanapalle. The police stated that the youth had resorted to the acute step following household disputes.
