Schools stay closed in 10 districts for security considerations amidst landslides and rock falls. The rain has led to 5 deaths and over 190 homes affected up to now.

All colleges in 10 districts of Mizoram remained closed for the fourth day on Tuesday resulting from heavy rain that triggered landslides, mud-flows, and rock falls in numerous components of the state, officers stated.

They stated that every one district administrations barring Saitual declared the closure of colleges on Tuesday as a precautionary measure for the protection of scholars resulting from steady rainfall.

A notification issued by Aizawl deputy commissioner and district catastrophe administration authority chairman Lalhriatpuia stated that every one colleges inside Aizawl district are suggested to droop attendance of college college students to make sure the protection and well-being of the scholars on June 3.
