The incident occurred at Mangzim village underneath #Yangang police station when Anjal Rai (30) entered the home of his girlfriend and attacked her with a ‘khukuri’, a standard knife, injuring her on Sunday evening.
Rai, who suspected her of being concerned with one other man, additionally ransacked the home.
As Rai left the home, her father rushed behind him and struck the person with a picket plank repeatedly, killing him on the spot, the officer mentioned.
The police arrested Tenzing Sherpa on the cost of killing Rai. A minor who accompanied Sherpa was additionally nabbed.
The arrested man’s daughter was admitted to hospital for wounds she suffered from the knife assault, the officer mentioned.
