The processional deities of the Srisailam temple will likely be taken out for a journey within the temple city on the Golden Chariot after performing Mahanyasa Purvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhisekham, Annabhisekham and different particular pujas to Lord Mallikarjuna swamy. The temple monks supplied prayers to bestow the God’s blessings for bountiful of rains, good crops, and peace and prosperity within the nation on the event.

The Radhotsavam began at 7.30 a.m. amid vedic chants and the Golden Chariot was taken out from Gangadhara Mandapam to Nandi Mandapam and from again to Gangadhara Mandapam. As a part of preserving conventional arts, troupes carried out Kolatam, people dances and bhajans in the course of the procession.
