The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Minister O.R. Kelu and attended by notable dignitaries, together with Speaker A.N. Shamseer, who honoured nationwide award-winning actor Vijayaraghavan. The pageant featured 55 excellent worldwide movies, alongside an exhibition commemorating Malayalam literary and cinematic legend M.T. Vasudevan Nair.
Films that drew consideration included Human Animal by Alexander Pugno, Memories of a Burning Body by Antonella Sudasassi Furniss, Mukhakannadi by Santosh and Satish Babusenan, and Malayalam entries Riptide by V.Ok. Afrad, A Pan Indian Story by V.C. Abhilash, and Mayannu, Marivarayunnu, Nishwasmadil by Abhilash Babu. Other screenings included Lovable, I Am Still Here, Humans within the Loop, The Room Next Door, In the Name of Fire, Second Chance, and Meeting with Pol Pot.
The pageant paid tribute to Thalassery’s celebrated music director Ok. Raghavan on his twelfth demise anniversary, with a commemorative decision offered by C. Ajoy. An exhibition, Kaalam; Mayachithrangal, honoured the literary contributions of Malayalam stalwart M.T. Vasudevan Nair.
The pageant concluded with an open discussion board for filmmakers, a dialogue programme, and a musical efficiency. Thalassery Municipality Chairperson Ok.M. Jamunarani presided over the inaugural ceremony, which noticed participation from native panchayat presidents, producers, and members of the Chalachitra Academy.
