These tasks are third and 4th line between Wardha and Bhusawal masking 314 km in Maharashtra; an 84 km 4th line between Gondia and Dongargarh in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh; 259 km third and 4th line between Vadodara – Ratlam in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh; and 4th line masking 84 km distance of Itarsi-Bhopal- Bina in Madhya Pradesh.
“The authorized multi-tracking challenge will improve connectivity to roughly 3,633 villages, which have a inhabitants of about 85.84 lakh and two Aspirational Districts (Vidisha and Rajnandgaon),” the assertion stated.

Highlighting their advantages for the tourism sector, Mr. Vaishnaw stated that these upcoming tasks will present connectivity to outstanding locations similar to Sanchi, Satpura Tiger Reserve, Rock shelter of Bhimbetka, Hazara falls and Nawegaon National Park, attracting vacationers from throughout the nation.
The Railway Minister additionally outlined the advantages to freight visitors and stated, “This is a vital route for transportation of commodities similar to coal, containers, cement, fly ash, meals grain, metal, and so forth. The capability augmentation works will lead to further freight visitors of magnitude 78 MTPA (Million Tonnes Per Annum).”
“The Railways, being an environmentally pleasant and power environment friendly mode of transportation, will assist each in reaching local weather objectives and minimising logistics price of the nation, cut back oil import (28 Crore Litres) and decrease CO2 emissions (139 crore kg) which is equal to plantation of six crore bushes,” he added.
