An official assertion from the Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayukta stated they’ve acquired a criticism from P. Om Sivaiah alleging non-payment of compensation for 1.72 acres of his land in Musunuru village of CS Puram mandal in Prakasam district acquired by NHAI for the Bangalore-Kadapa-Vijayawada financial hall (NH-554G), and inaction by the district Collector.
Following intervention by the Institution of Lokayukta, the district Collector and Special district Collector (Land Acquisition), Prakasam district submitted studies confirming the land as Patta land, and facilitated deletion from the prohibited property record.
Subsequently, vital corrections had been made to the income information, and the Project Director, NHAI, Project Implementation Unit, Ongole, was directed to launch compensation. An quantity of ₹20.11 lakh was paid to Mr. Sivaiah by CS Puram Tahsildar. The complainant confirmed receipt of the compensation and expressed satisfaction with the motion.
“This present circumstances the proactive position of the Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayukta of Andhra Pradesh in guaranteeing transparency, coordination with district authorities, and swift redressal of citizen grievances,” the discharge stated and added the criticism stands closed because the grievance has been absolutely redressed.
