India’s exports fall by 9.3 per cent in August, imports rise by 3.3 per cent

India’s overall exports, combining merchandise and services, fell by 2.4% in August, reaching USD 65.4 billion compared to USD 67 billion in the same month last year, according to Commerce Ministry data released on Tuesday. Merchandise exports dropped to USD 34.71 billion from USD 38.28 billion, while services exports rose to USD 30.69 billion from USD 28.71 billion.
