Lebanon: 9 killed, over 2800 injured after thousands of pagers exploded following ‘cryptic’ message

Beirut: At least nine  people were killed and over 28,000 were injured after thousands of members of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, including fighters and medics, came under massive attack on Tuesday. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, all were injured after the pagers they used to communicate exploded, exploded. Multiple media reported that the thousands of pagers exploded after receiving a “cryptic message”. If the claims were true, it would be the most advanced warfare against the Hezbollah group. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military about the detonations.
