Snipers took part in the ongoing Joint Exercise between the militaries of India and Sri Lanka ‘Mitra Shakti’ in the island nation on Monday (August 19), officials said. India has deployed 8.68 mm Sako sniper rifles (Finland) and 7.62mm Dragunov Sniper Rifle (Russia) while ⁠Sri Lanka has deployed 7.62mm Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Rifle (AIAW), made in UK.
