Parvez Rasool, J&Ks first worldwide cricketer, retires

Jammu and Kashmir’s iconic cricketer, Parvez Rasool, introduced his retirement from the game on Monday (October 20, 2025), over a decade after he turned the primary participant from the State to put on the Indian colors.

Rasool performed one ODI for India, in opposition to Bangladesh in June 2014, and one T20I in opposition to England in January 2017.

In a publish on social media, Rasool mentioned: “It’s been an unimaginable journey one stuffed with goals, arduous work, pleasure, and numerous recollections that I’ll cherish eternally. From native grounds to representing my crew and my nation, In cricket Allah has given me the whole lot I ever wished for.
