WCL semifinal: Indian Champions refuse to play towards Pakistan

India have refused to play towards arch-rivals #Pakistan within the semifinals of the World Championship of Legends in #Birmingham on Thursday, citing the nation’s stand towards any bilateral sporting ties with the neighbouring nation after the ugly Pahalagam terror assault.

The Indian workforce which incorporates legends like #Shikhar Dhawan, #Irfan Pathan, #Harbhajan Singh, #Yuvraj Singh, #Suresh Raina amongst others have already expressed their unwillingness to play towards #Pakistan following the phobia assault and the following Operation #Sindoor launched by India.

India took an identical stand like they did within the group-stage match towards #Pakistan earlier within the match.

In that recreation, a number of prime former India cricketers had refused to play towards #Pakistan within the aftermath of Operation #Sindoor.

“Some issues are larger than sport. Nation first enterprise later Always,” he added.

India Champions superior to the semifinals of the continued World Championship of Legends after defeating West Indies Champions in simply 13.2 overs of their final group match on Tuesday.
