Australia and Brazil came back against Poland and Switzerland, respectively, after losing their opening matches due to walkovers. Australia recorded a 3-1 win, and Brazil salvaged a 2-2 draw. Australian player Madison Lyon hasn’t arrived in India due to visa issues, and the team had to forfeit her game.
South Africa, meanwhile, recovered from going a match down to defeat the Republic of Korea.
