A Dibrugarh-bound Air India Express flight on Monday returned to Guwahati after growing a technical snag, and later flew to its vacation spot with a distinct plane, officers mentioned.

The Boeing 737 Max 8 service took off from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport in Guwahati at 12:20 p.m. and was scheduled to land at Dibrugarh airport at 1:25 p.m.

However, moments earlier than touchdown, the pilots noticed an issue within the avionics associated to one of many wings, an official mentioned.
