 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday joined Durga Puja celebrations at Delhi’s Chittaranjan Park and described the festivities as a logo of “unity and cultural vibrancy”.

Marking the event of Maha Ashtami, Mr. Modi provided prayers on the historic Kali Mandir and visited the neighbourhood’s iconic Durga Pujas organised by the C.R. Park Kali Mandir Society. In a submit on X, shared in each Bengali and English, he mentioned he prayed for the happiness and well-being of all. “Today, on the auspicious event of Maha Ashtami, I went to Delhi’s Chittaranjan Park to participate within the Durga Puja celebrations.
