Israel’s Defence Minister mentioned on Tuesday (September 16, 2025) that “Gaza is burning” after heavy strikes in a single day focused Gaza City.

Defence Minister Israel Katz’s remarks come as Israel has been planning a brand new offensive concentrating on Gaza City.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, talking to journalists whereas leaving Israel for Qatar, advised the offensive had begun.
