The State Highways Department will quickly name for tenders to widen Chennai’s Sardar Patel Road. The estimated price of including two extra lanes, constructing close to footpaths for pedestrians, and developing a soundproof wall for the Cancer Institute (WIA) might be roughly Rs. 45 crores.
