Man charged with homicide for taking pictures Indian scholar in Canada

The man who fired the stray bullet that killed 21-year-old Indian scholar Harsimrat Randhawa in Canada has been arrested and charged with first-degree homicide, an official stated.

Hamilton Police, who arrested 32-year-old Jerdaine Foster at Niagara Falls in Ontario on Tuesday (August 5, 2025), additionally charged him with three counts of tried homicide, CBC News quoted Acting Det-Sgt Daryl Reid as saying in a information convention.
