According to Nepal Home Ministry sources, 60 individuals, together with 15 youngsters, have died in 11 districts of the nation on account of floods, landslides and lightning strikes.
At 37, majority of the deaths had been from the worst-hit Ilam district in Koshi province that noticed floods, landslides, lightning and highway accidents.
Eight individuals have died in Panchathar, three every in Udayapur and Rautahat, two every in Kavre and Khotang, and one every in Sunsari, Morang, Mohattari, Sindhuli and Sindhupalchowk districts.
Monsoon was lively in 5 of Nepal’s seven provinces, specifically, Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini.
Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) personnel had been deployed for finishing up rescue operations in numerous areas.
Nepal authorities introduced Nepali rupees (NRs) 2,00,000 as fast aid to the kin of those that misplaced their lives in rain-related disasters on Sunday (October 5).
