Video footage aired on Turkish information retailers appeared to point out the plane spiralling down and leaving a path of white smoke.
The C-130 aircraft had taken off from Azerbaijan and was on its method again to Turkiye when it crashed, Turkiye’s Defence Ministry stated on X.

Mr. Erdogan stated he was “deeply saddened” by the crash and expressed his condolences for the “martyrs.” “God keen, we’ll overcome this accident with the least quantity of setbacks potential,” Mr. Erdogan stated.
C-130 army cargo planes are broadly utilized by Turkiye’s armed forces for transporting personnel and dealing with logistical operations.
