Rubio’s feedback come after Reuters and others reported Tuesday that these U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear amenities set again Tehran’s program by solely a matter of months, citing a preliminary U.S. intelligence evaluation by sources.
Both Trump and the White House rejected the evaluation.
The president reiterated on his Truth Social account that the Iranian nuclear websites have been utterly destroyed, whereas the White House pointed Reuters to an announcement by spokesperson Karoline Leavitt to CNN, which first reported the evaluation, that the “alleged” conclusion was “flat-out wrong.”
“The bottom line is, they are much further away from a nuclear weapon today than they were before the president took this bold action,” Rubio informed Politico on the sidelines of the NATO summit.

Rubio dismissed the media stories as “false” and mentioned they didn’t seize the complete image, in line with Politico.
