The malnourished canines had been reportedly crammed into closets, cupboards, cages, and even kitchen drawers—barely surviving within the squalor.

Dozens of canines present in ‘deplorable circumstances’

Authorities say the invention was made on 8 May when members of the NYPD, ASPCA, and town’s Animal Care Centers responded to a seventh-floor residence following the eviction of the tenant, recognized as 37-year-old Isaac Yadgarov.
