The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office reported that firefighters responded to a hearth on Canfield Mountain at round 1:30 pm (native time). About half an hour later, gunshots have been heard within the space, the AP report stated. It stays unsure whether or not anybody was injured by the gunfire.

According to authorities, the fireplace was deliberately set to lure emergency responders into an ambush. According to AZ Intel, a firefighter on the scene stated, “It’s clear to me that this fireplace was set deliberately to attract us in.”
After the taking pictures, an emergency alert was despatched to native residents warning of an energetic shooter within the Canfield Mountain space. “Active shooter at Canfield Mountain. Injuries are reported, however the extent is unknown. Avoid the world,” the alert learn.
As of three:30 p.m. native time, at the very least two giant sections of the Canfield Mountain hearth continued to burn.
