Who is Garon Nathaniel Killian? Catawba County, NC, mass taking pictures suspect recognized as a Lenoir man

According to the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, Killian allegedly opened hearth throughout a gathering on Walnut Acres Drive, taking pictures 12 folks. One of the victims, 58-year-old Shawn Hood, additionally from Lenoir, was pronounced useless on the scene.

“Law enforcement executed multiple search warrants on Tuesday as part of the ongoing investigation. Arrests of additional suspects are anticipated. We do not anticipate releasing any additional information tonight.”

What Happened

Deputies first responded to the Walnut Acres Drive residence round 11 p.m. Saturday following a noise criticism. After addressing the problem, they left the scene. Approximately two hours later, deputies, alongside officers from the Hickory Police Department, returned to the identical house after receiving a number of reviews of a taking pictures.

At the scene, authorities found 12 victims. One, Shawn Hood, was deceased. The remaining 11 victims had been transported to native hospitals.

As of Monday night, seven victims remained hospitalized, with one listed in vital situation. The ages of the victims vary from 16 to 58.

The motive for the taking pictures has not but been disclosed.
