Stock markets decline in early commerce amid weak international tendencies, relentless international fund outflows

Benchmark fairness indices Sensex and Nifty declined in early commerce on Wednesday (September 3, 2025), monitoring weak international market tendencies and relentless international fund outflows.

Caution additionally prevailed within the fairness market forward of the GST Council assembly starting Wednesday (September 3, 2025).

The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 153.28 factors to 80,004.60 in early commerce. The 50-share NSE Nifty dipped 46.4 factors to 24,533.20.

From the Sensex companies, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and Trent had been among the many laggards.

However, Tata Steel, Bharat Electronics, Eternal, ITC and Mahindra & Mahindra had been among the many gainers.

In Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi traded in constructive territory whereas Japan’s Nikkei 225 index, Shanghai’s SSE Composite index and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng quoted decrease.

U.S. markets ended decrease on Tuesday (September 2, 2025).

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded equities price Rs 1,159.48 crore on Tuesday (September 2, 2025), in keeping with alternate knowledge.
