Two individuals, together with an 11-year-old woman, have been killed in separate accidents on Chennai – Bengaluru Highway (NH-48) close to Arcot city in Ranipet on Sunday.

Police mentioned the deceased have been recognized as V. Harish, 27, a local of Krishnagiri, and E. Jersey, 11, a resident of Chennai. Initial inquiry revealed that the omni-bus from Chennai was continuing in direction of Bengaluru with 22 passengers when the bus driver, Mohammed Sherif, 28, a local of Chennai, instantly misplaced management of the automobile and hit a trailer lorry, which was going forward of the bus on the stretch.
