Two prominent trains connecting the South to Mumbai, the Matsyagandha Express and the Netravati Express, will short-terminate at Panvel instead of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) for approximately one month, starting with journeys commencing on Wednesday, December 31.

The short-termination, and the consequent short-origination from Panvel, is due to a 30-day traffic block scheduled from January 1 to January 30, due to the repair and maintenance of damaged pit line No. 3 at the LTT Yard, according to official releases from Konkan Railway and Southern Railway.

Accordingly, Train No. 12620 Mangaluru Central – Mumbai LTT Matsyagandha Daily Express and Train No. 16346 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mumbai LTT Netravati Daily Express, for journeys commencing from December 31 to January 29, will be short-terminated at Panvel Station and remain partially cancelled between Panvel and LTT.

Similarly, Train No. 12619 Mumbai LTT – Mangaluru Central Matsyagandha Daily Express and Train No. 16345 Mumbai LTT – Thiruvanathapuram Central Netravati Daily Express, for journeys commencing from January 1 to January 31, will short-originate from Panvel at their scheduled time.
