Pride & Prejudice set for re-release on its twentieth anniversary

The Oscar-nominated Pride & Prejudice, starring Keira Knightley, is about for a re-release. PVR INOX, in affiliation with United International Pictures (UIP), introduced the twentieth anniversary re-release of the romantic drama.

In the film, Knightley stars as Elizabeth Bennet whereas Matthew Macfadyen performs the quietly intense Mr Darcy. The Joe Wright directorial will hit the screens once more on July 25, 2025.

With the screenplay from Deborah Moggach, Pride & Prejudice is predicated on Jane Austin’s 1813 novel. Set in opposition to the elegant landscapes and ballrooms of Georgian England, the movie’s evocative rating by Dario Marianelli and poetic cinematography from Roman Osin have made it some of the widespread literary diversifications of recent cinema.
